Update: Ben Roethlisberger limped off the field with a lower leg injury late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Seahawks. Big Ben missed two plays before returning to action.  Ben looks to rebound after being banged up once again.

Update: Earl Bennett suffered a chest injury in the first quarter Sunday and is questionable to return. Bennett was speared in the ribs by Saints defender Roman Harper after hauling in a nine-yard over-the-middle pass. 

Update: Jamaal Charles was forced from Sunday's game against the Lions with a left knee injury.  He appeared to be in a great deal of pain as he was carted to the locker room. His return is officially questionable.

Update: Roy Williams (groin) is inactive for Week 2 against the Saints.  Johnny Knox will start opposite Devin Hester in Williams' absence.

Update: Stewart Bradley will start at "Mike" linebacker Sunday with Daryl Washington (calf) inactive. Paris Lenon kicks from "Mike" to "Will," allowing Bradley to line up in his more natural position. 

Update: The Redskins have decided to start Rex Grossman over John Beck in the season opener.  Beck was believed to have the inside track on the starter's role, but was outplayed by Grossman in the final preseason game. 

Update: Titans head coach Mike Munchak told reporters Monday that the Titans have no real limitation on how many carries Chris Johnson will receive in Week 1. 

Update: NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Giants RE Osi Umenyiora (knee surgery) will miss "at least" the season's first two games. It sounds like Umenyiora's return target is Week 3 against the Eagles.

Update: ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss is reporting that Brandon Tate is unlikely to make the Patriots' 53-man roster. With Wes Welker, Chad Ochocinco, Deion Branch, Julian Edelman, Taylor Price, and Matthew Slater, in the mix, Tate is on the outside looking in.  Especially since his fail takes a hit with the new kick off rules changing.

Update: Released by the Redskins on Tuesday, free agent WR Malcolm Kelly indicated that he may consider retirement. "As much as I love this thing, I’m not going to go out here and kill myself," Kelly said. "It’s one thing to have one injury, man, but to have as many as I’ve had, it’s to the point where it is what it is."
