Update: Lance Moore (groin) returned to Saints practice Wednesday and should be ready for Week 1.

Update: The Nashville Tennessean reports that contract talks between the Titans and Chris Johnson have "picked up," and there is "reason to be optimistic" a deal will be worked out before Week 1. Expect a deal to get done before Week 1, as it is apparent the Titans need Johnson in their backfield. 

Update: Wideout Victor Cruz has worked as the Giants' primary slot receiver for their last two preseason games.  He has not been great, as he and Eli Manning look out of sync a number of times, but he does in fact appear to have the inside track ahead of Domenik Hixon

Update: Commissioner Roger Goodell told Kenny Britt to expect a decision on a personal conduct suspension "later this week." "I have a smile on my face, I am still breathing," Britt said after Tuesday's meeting. "Everything is good." He asked me questions about certain situations," said Britt, "and I told him what happened. … He didn't scold me or anything." 

Update: The Colts have been saying that they believe Peyton Manning will be ready for Week 1, however the team went out and signed veteran QB Kerry Collins out of retirement today in the event Manning is unable to go.  

Update:  ESPN is reporting the Packers agreed to guarantee Ryan Grant's 2011 base salary when they reworked his contract earlier in camp. His cost moved from $3.5 million to $2.5 million.

Update: Free agent Terrell Owens (ACL surgery) admitted Wednesday that he's still 2-3 months away from being fully healed.  "I'm still not 100 percent to be able to go to a team and contribute," he said. "When I get to the point to where I'm comfortable and able to run around, I'll feel like those calls should be coming." 

Update: Cowboys signed CB Orlando Scandrick to a five-year, $27 million extension with $10 million guaranteed.  This is a boatload of money to give Scandrick, who isn't a stud by any means, but new coordinator Rob Ryan apparently has taken a liking to him.  

Update: ESPN is reporting that the New York Giants have waived LB Kenny Ingram.  Ingram played college ball at FSU, and got off to a nice camp, but quickly faded and lost his chance of making a banged up Giants roster.

Update: Patriots waived/injured S Bret Lockett. Lockett is expected to miss the 2011 season after tearing his groin in last week's game against the Bucs.
