Ireland apologizes for prostitute question
Update: According to the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland apologized Tuesday for asking WR Dez Bryant an inappropriate question during a pre-draft interview. Yahoo Sports reported earlier Tuesday that Bryant was offended when Ireland asked him if his mother, Angela, was a prostitute. "No, my mom is not a prostitute," Bryant said. "I got mad — really mad — but I didn't show it." Ireland said he used poor judgment in a statement released by the Dolphins. Ireland said he meant no disrespect.
Fantasy Impact: Bryant's mother, Angela Bryant, received an 18-month jail sentence in 1997-98 for drug trafficking.
